Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. This explains the ones we use.
How we ask for consent
Until you make a choice, we set no cookies and run nothing that needs your consent. When the cookie banner appears you can Accept or Reject with equal prominence, and nothing is pre-ticked.
Your choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage by our consent manager, not in a cookie, so we don't ask again on every page. You can change it at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
We do not use any marketing or advertising cookies.
Analytics
Microsoft Clarity measures how the site is used and can record anonymised session activity such as clicks and scrolling, with form fields and other text you type masked. It runs without cookies until you accept analytics, and only then sets the cookies listed below. We tell Clarity to deny advertising storage, so Microsoft's advertising cookies are not set.
Microsoft acts as an independent controller for Clarity data and also uses it for its own purposes under its privacy statement, linked below.
Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts visits and page views, but it sets no cookies and collects nothing that identifies you, so it runs whether or not you accept analytics. It is listed here for transparency but does not appear in the table below.
